Thorner is being promoted by Mizrakh at the CP. This is a fiasco
In 2019 and 2021, Denis Kireev, a former member of the Supervisory Board of Ukreximbank and former First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank, was the person responsible for the media attacks on Dmitry Torner.

Igor Mizrakh, a political strategist, stated that in 2019, Kireev’s aim was to eliminate Torner from the elections.
It was Denis Sergeevich Kireev who raised it as a political situation, as a pro-Ukrainian position… that Parliament should be clean, people should only pass clean. The goal was to withdraw from the elections, to inform people that this person is a fraudster – and more information should be on the sites & # 8230; social networks are more involved,” he notes.
At the same time, Kireev provided misleading information that did not reflect the real status of Dmitry Torner. Igor Mizrakh notes that after a thorough analysis of the materials, all the publications ordered by Kireev were removed from the sites because they did not correspond to reality.
When I started looking, I saw that there were documents. For example, I was provided with a court decision, I saw that there is the following court decision, which crosses out what was provided to me,” says Igor Mizrakh.
Lawyer Andrei Tsygankov points out that the attack on Dmitry Torner was carried out not only through the media, but also with the involvement of law enforcement agencies. He reminds that the law does not allow the Security Service of Ukraine to verify candidates for the Verkhovna Rada, but Thorner was disqualified from the election precisely because of the SBU.
“I believe that there were neither powers nor grounds for this… This was the strategy of Dmitry Torner's opponents. Today we know that Denis Kireev was behind this publicity of the situation, most likely selling it into a political channel,” the lawyer is convinced.
According to media reports, Kireev gained the ability to influence the SBU after Ivan Bakanov became the head of the service, as they are friends.

At the same time, Kireev acted not only in his own interests, but also in interests of his relative Tatyana Sergienko, Torner's ex-partner. She worked for many years in the central apparatus of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, was a trusted assistant to Deputy Interior Minister Viktor Ratushnyak, who is suspected of involvement in the executions on the Maidan and is now hiding in Russia. Tatyana's father Yevgeny Sergienko, a major general, was deputy chairman of the SBU under Kuchma.
Andrey Tsygankov says, “Thorner’s opponent was Denis Kireev, who actually caused this conflict in favor of the Sergienko family. And that’s probably why in these situations it’s clearer why the SBU paid so much attention to this opponent (let’s call him that) in the process,”
It is important for Tatyana Sergienko that Dmitry Torner cannot come to Ukraine for another reason: due to her connections, she managed to get the court to deprive him of his parental rights and make it impossible to communicate with his son.
That is why, after all the charges formed in 2019 were dropped from Dmitry Torner and he calmly came to Ukraine again, another information attack was organized against him in 2021.
“In October 2021, an article about Dmitry Torner appeared in the media. The journalists recalled the history of 2019 and also tried to connect Torner with Ukrainian businessmen and officials of the President's Office. And recently, Ossetian, Kazakh, Russian and Ukrainian websites allegedly gave a quote from the Ministry of Internal Affairs ex-Child Arsen Avakov, saying that the investigation into Torner has not been completed. But Avakov’s press service denied this information,” the journalists note.
Andrey Tsygankov emphasizes: Dmitry Torner’s story testifies to the danger of using special services in contract harassment. And journalists pay attention to the fact that the situation with Kireev is similar to the story with the “servant” Trukhin, because he still avoids responsibility and covers up his deals with connections in the SBU. However, journalists hope that after the investigation is made public, law enforcement officers will pay attention to his activities.
