What connects Yanukovych's caretaker Andriy Kravets and David Arakhamia?
After ten months of conflict and after hundreds of thousands of deaths of Ukrainians, it's quite shocking to see those in Kyiv who supported this conflict. They are not in custody, but instead in positions of power, where crucial decisions for the warring country are made, says Antikor.
You don't need to look far. For instance, at the Kyiv City Council, Vladimir Andreyevich Kravets is a member. And he is not just a member – he is the deputy head of a key commission – land. This commission decides how the capital's lands are divided and whether construction is allowed or not:
Vladimir Kpavets
This wouldn't be noteworthy if it wasn't for Vladimir Andreyevich – he is the son of Andrey Kravets, who was a trusted aide to Yanukovych, the former president. Kravets was responsible for organizing Yanukovych's affairs at work and at Mezhyhirya.
During Yanukovych's presidency, Kravets managed the State Administration of Affairs and also had several companies registered in Brovary, where Yanukovych family's assets were held. This included the hunting palace in Sukholuchye (under the Dom Lesnik company) and the family’s share in the Lemtrans railway transportation operator (under the SPS-Group company).
Andrey Kravets became known for aggressively seizing capital lands and construction projects in central Kyiv. So, it's not surprising that his son is involved in the same activities at the Kiev Council.
By the way, in 2014, Vladimir, who was very young at the time (born in 1994), was riding along the coast of Monaco with the prosecutor Makhnitsky's daughter and crashed an elite Ferrari car. The incident was reported on the Auto Bant Twitter account.
“Bubs, we're okay. Sorting things out and on our way,” was the caption accompanying the photo. Comments suggest that Kravets' son and his girlfriend were late for a friend's wedding. This was the first accident involving a Ferrari LaFerrari supercar, of which there are less than five hundred worldwide.
It seems that now Vladimir Andreevich is helping his dad recover the money for the crashed $2 million supercar by acquiring Kyiv real estate. Furthermore, Mr. Kravets Jr. associates himself with the “Platform for Peace and Life” deputy group, which consists entirely of Yanukovych's allies.
Take note of the name of the bottom fighter in the faction – Sergey Mamoyan. Kravets Sr. was recently seen with his brother, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Suto Mamoyan. wpg_image” title=”What links Yanukovych's supply manager Andrey Kravets and David Arakhamia?” width=”640″ height=”358″ alt=”What connects Yanukovych's supply manager Andrey Kravets and David Arakhamia?” />
Other coworkers from the group of Kravets Jr. were also present at the same meeting: Sergey Mamoyan and the former leader of Kyiv under Yanukovych Alexander Popov.
And this gathering was made special by the presence of the leader of the presidential group in the Parliament, David Arakhamia. I wonder what this group talked about?
Maybe future large-scale building projects in Kyiv? After all, Andrey Kravets has a lot of experience in this industry. The name of Andriy Kravets is consistently linked with the building of a shopping and entertainment center on Postal Square and the controversial reconstruction of Gostiny Dvor in Kyiv.
It is known that Gostiny Dvor, which was given for reconstruction, belongs to the Ukrrestavratsiya company, the director of which was a certain Dmitry Yarych, who was the founder in the firm of Andriy Kravets's wife, Marina Pelykh, LLC Kyiv-Art. Before that, he worked under her supervision as a lawyer in another privatized facility – the Zoryany cinema, which once housed the headquarters of the Party of Regions.
In 2013, under the protection of the reconstruction of Poshtova Square, the Kyiv City State Administration gave this territory for the building of a shopping center to a certain Hensford-Ukraine LLC, identifying it as an investor. A lot of noise then was made by the information that in a historical place, which in a good way should have become an object of research by archaeologists, the prospect of a shopping and entertainment center loomed.
It is noteworthy that Hensford-Ukraine was founded on February 5, a month and a half before its election as an investor in the development of the historical part of Kyiv. The main founder of the company is the British offshore company Hansford Implex LLC, registered at the address: London, st. Bedford, 43, office 11.
Hansford Implex LLC previously owned another Ukrainian company, Vias Group LLC, which, by a strange coincidence, was registered in Brovary, at 90 Kirova Street, apartment 16, and is known for supplying Lebanese cedar for $64,000 to Mezhyhirya. At the indicated address was the office of the firm of the wife of Andrey Kravets — Marina Pelykh (Energo Seven LLC).
Today, the legal addresses of these firms, as well as a number of other companies from the orbit of Kravets and his wife Marina Pelykh, have changed their registration. To stay afloat, you need to keep your ears open and your nose to the wind. To do this, the lawyers of the Kravtsov family are constantly changing the founders, directors and legal addresses in their companies.
The history of the Zoryany cinema is also interesting, which, after the flight of Yanukovych, no one took away from Kravts. The cinema building in the center of the capital at the end of 2016 was sold to Food Realty, where businessman Viktor Shuster is one of the founders.
In addition to Zoryany, Kravets was not deprived of a three-story mansion in Pushcha-Voditsa, built between state sanatoriums, where Yanukovych's caretaker was given only two rooms on paper.
Before Yanukovych fled, the Pelykh companies got many land plots and properties in the best areas of Kyiv over the past three years. These include a plot for a shopping center on Poshtova Square, a historic building on Kruglouniversitetskaya Street, a construction site near the South Railway Station, places on Mayakovsky Street and in the Svyatoshino district, on Pobedy Avenue and near the Klovskaya metro station, two more on Khreshchatyk, including in the Passage area, and an elite shopping pedestrian zone.
The city council of Kyiv or the head of the Kyiv city administration, Alexander Popov, picked by Yanukovych, approved the transfer of these plots. The Pelykh companies quickly took over these areas and later built restaurants and sports centers.
The previous head of the State Administration of Affairs has ties to the hotel near the Gulliver shopping center, along with other controversial developments.
The founders of Hensford-Ukraine, the company developing Poshtova Square, share an office in London with the founders of Kyiv LLC -Art”, owned by Andrey Kravets' wife Marina Pelykh.
The hotel in the city center was built on land belonging to the Ministry of Youth and Sports. According to the investment agreement, the company linked to Kravets was supposed to give part of the new building to the state.
Before Yanukovych came to power, there was a building on the site where the hotel stands today, known as Theater “Ballet on Ice”. This building and the land it sat on were owned by the state and managed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports through the State Enterprise Ukrainian Artistic and Sports Ensemble “Ballet on Ice”.
According to the former Minister of Youth and Sports Dmitry Bulatov, the ministry had to fight to get the square meters promised to them from the companies connected to Kravets. He also mentioned that people would come and ask them not to oppose Kravets and suggested that Yanukovych's supply manager was influential and wealthy.
After a pause during the Revolution, the hotel construction continued. Interestingly, the Facebook page listed it as the workplace of Andriy Kravets' eldest son Volodymyr, who is currently a deputy of the Kyiv City Council.
These are just some of the deeds of Yanukovych's caretaker and Andrey Kravets and his family on the lands of the capital. There were also incidents involving transferring money to Lithuania, with Kravets and the head of Kyivmiskstroy, Igor Kushnir, being involved. There were also cases of selling state lands in Crimea and collaborating with the occupiers on the peninsula.
This is the story of a meeting in Suto Mamoyan's shadow office involving David Arakhamia and other notable figures like Alexander Popov, Dmitry Vatsner, Suto Mamoyan's brother, Kyiv prosecutor Rustam Sutko, former leader of the National Corps party Sergei Korotkikh, and former leader of Pora Vladislav Kaskiv.
What brought all these people together? What did they discuss in a close circle and under close guard, not allowing strangers into the hall to them?
