Yulia Lyovochkina resigned her deputy powers
People's Deputy from the Opposition Platform for Life Yulia Lyovochkina resigned her deputy mandate. She wrote a corresponding statement.
This was reported to RBC-Ukraine in the press service of Lyovochkina.
“People's Deputy of Ukraine, member of the Permanent Delegation of Ukraine to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Deputy Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Yulia Vladimirovna Lyovochkina filed an application for the resignation of deputy powers,” the publication was told.
Lyovochkina's service was explained that her decision was made due to family circumstances.
“First of all, I want to express my deep gratitude to the voters who entrusted me to represent them. I sincerely thank my friends and colleagues in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, with whom I had the honor to work for 15 years. My decision was made due to family circumstances,” the deputy noted.

Yulia Lyovochkina graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a degree in jurisprudence and the Faculty of Economics of the University of Manitoba (Canada). Former surname – Novikova.
She was a people's deputy from the Party of Regions. And in January 2015, she became the first deputy head of the Ukrainian delegation to PACE, a member of the PACE Monitoring Committee, a member of the Bureau of the Group of Socialists in PACE.
On December 1, 2013, Lyovochkina withdrew from the Party of Regions, and on April 8, 2014, from its faction.
She was also a deputy from the Opposition Bloc, and in 2019 she was elected a people’s deputy from the Opposition Platform – For life.”
According to the “Chestno” movement, Lyovochkina never spoke at Verkhovna Rada 9, like her brother Sergei Levochkin.
In January 2022, an investigation was published Investigation.info, in in which it was noted that the deputy co-owned three offshore companies in the British Virgin Islands and did not declare any of these three companies of Lyovochkin. The Supreme Court of Ukraine made the corresponding decision on September 15. And it was decided to transfer all the property of the political force to the ownership of the state.
