Following the meeting, a statement was adopted by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
According to the statement, the leaders of the three countries reaffirmed their commitment to strict observance of all these agreements in the interests of a comprehensive normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, ensuring peace, stability, security and sustainable economic development of the South Caucasus. The parties agreed to attach admissions that will be aimed at urgently solving problems, including a block of humanitarian issues.
The parties also agreed to refrain from using force or the threat of its use, to discuss and resolve all emerging issues solely on the basis of mutual recognition of sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of borders in accordance with the UN Charter and the Alma-Ata Declaration of 1991.
In addition, they stressed the importance of active preparations for the conclusion of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Reminder: last month there was a meeting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
And also reportedthat the heads of the foreign ministries of the EU member states agreed on a civilian mission to solve problems on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
