Artur Gerasimov does not want to withdraw the indictment
NABU detectives handed an indictment to European Solidarity MP Artur Gerasimov in the case of non-declaration of real estate in Spain – he refused to take production materials, threw away the documents, and then closed the car door and left, writes UP.

Literally SAP: “Based on the materials of the NABU pre-trial investigation, the SAPO prosecutor sent an indictment to the court on charges of the current people’s deputy for entering knowingly false information in the annual declaration for 2020“.
Details: The SAP also published a video of the presentation of the indictment to the People’s Deputy. The prosecutor’s office does not name the deputy, but, according to the UP, we are talking about Artur Gerasimov from the EU.
The video shows that the parliamentarian refuses to take the materials of the pre-trial investigation. He takes several pieces of paper (probably the indictment itself – ed.) and in parallel, probably speaks with his lawyer on the phone.

Prosecutor Gerasimov says:And everything else (give it – ed.) to a lawyer, please“, and, probably, informs his defender:”They try to poke me“.
Then the people’s deputy told the prosecutor:We will come to get acquainted. I’m not going to take anything. I didn’t hit. Please don’t poke me”, pushed the folders with documents, closed the car door and left.
The SAP reported that the total amount of information undeclared by the People’s Deputy is almost UAH 8 million.
In particular, in the amended declaration for 2020, the deputy did not include information about the two-story residential premises and parking space belonging to him and his wife, which are located in Spain, with a total value of 228 thousand euros, as well as about the presence of 1,657 dollars, which were placed on the accounts in one of the Ukrainian banks.
Background:
- On January 16, NABU announced to Gerasimov that he was suspected of not declaring real estate in Spain.
- We are talking about two-story duplex-type housing and a parking space in the province of Alicante (Spain) worth 190 thousand euros (as of 2013), as well as 1.6 thousand dollars in accounts in Ukrainian banks.
- Gerasimov expressed confidencethat he will win in court the case of non-declaration of his apartment in Spain.
