A little-known businessman in America, Robert Koenig, has a chain of jewelry stores in Kyiv and made it onto the list of the wealthiest Ukrainian expats: who is responsible for the success of the main jewelry dealer in the capital?

American millionaire Robert Koenig made it into the top 100 wealthiest Ukrainians according to Forbes and is actively involved in the social scene of the capital. But what or who is behind the success of the entrepreneur? And how does it relate to the gambling business of the Klitschko family?

The businessman with an American passport, Robert Koenig, is the official and exclusive representative of these jewelry companies in Ukraine. A few years ago, this well-known millionaire in certain circles had 15 boutiques in the capital, which led to his inclusion in the Ukrainian Forbes ranking. He is ranked 8th among the country’s wealthiest expats, and his fortune amounts to hundreds of millions of dollars.

He sponsors or attends ceremonial tree lighting by Tiffany, galas hosted by the Bulgari jewelry house, children’s parties at the Sanpaolo restaurant, watch presentations, film premieres – he is present everywhere as the sponsor or main guest.
