Activist Elvira Vikhareva sued Maria Zakharova, official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, who banned her from her social networks.
Vikhareva believes that Zakharova’s blog is a public service, because she publishes her official statements there on behalf of the ministry. Therefore, Zakharova has no right to deprive Vikharev of the right to read this information.
“Zakharova is a civil servant. Her social networks are her job,” says Vikhareva.
