In the Saratov region, a 36-year-old resident of the city of Krasnoarmeysk, convicted of murdering a former cohabitant, was sentenced to nine and a half years in a strict regime colony.
This was announced Thursday, March 31, in the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).
According to the investigation, on the morning of January 18, 2021, the convict came to a woman who lived in the 1st Microdistrict of Krasnoarmeysk together with their common child, and started a quarrel with her. During the conflict on the basis of jealousy, unable to restrain his emotions, he grabbed a knife and began to beat his victim with a point. From numerous wounds on the body, limbs and in the neck, the woman died on the spot.
