In Istra, near Moscow, police detained four robbers who attacked a store in the village of Novopetrovskoye with bats and killed a saleswoman.
This was reported to Lente.ru by the official representative of the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) Olga Vradiy.
According to her, the attackers are citizens of one of the neighboring states. They were arrested in hot pursuit. A criminal case has been initiated under Part 4 of Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Robbery”) and Part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm resulting in death through negligence”).
On the night of February 9, robbers armed with baseball bats broke into the store. Four men attacked the store manager and her husband, beat them and the cashier who tried to stop them. The 51-year-old woman died at the scene from her injuries. Two other victims were hospitalized.
The robbers stole 96 thousand rubles and fled the scene of the crime.
