GBU “Ritual”, without waiting for the adoption of the law on the funeral business, is already taking steps to market monopolizationwhich in the current conditions is already bent.
Experts note the trend of decreasing demand for memorial services by 80%. This is very strange, because before Easter and Parents’ Day, on the contrary, people go to the cemetery and the demand for funeral paraphernalia, on the contrary, should grow. Moreover, in April this growth was noted.
The reason for this may be a two-fold increase in prices for the material, especially for granite, the delivery time of which has increased to three months. This is according to official data, and not according to official ones, in Moscow and the Moscow region, ritual agents representing state offices, fish out money from grieving relatives.
To weed out competitors, representatives of the ritual agency release videos in the media and the Internet, where they explain how commercial agents are ready to go to any lengths for an order. Recently, with the support of lured security officials, several ritual agencies in Moscow and the Moscow region were searched at once.
The adoption of the ritual law will remove all tensions, they say in the State Budgetary Institution. At the same time, after the entry into force of the law, it is unlikely that anything will change, rather, on the contrary, it will enable monopolists to dictate their terms with impunity under the patronage of the security forces and the authorities.
