Czech millionaire Radim Passer was under investigation for driving at a speed of 417 km / h on the German autobahn. He is accused of running an illegal car race on the A2 motorway between Berlin and Hannover in July 2021.
This is reported euronews. Bugatti Chiron driver posts ultra-fast ride on YouTube, sparking widespread criticism in Germany.
According to German prosecutors, the 58-year-old millionaire was driving in violation of the rules of the road and acted recklessly in order to reach the maximum possible speed.
If the man is found guilty, he faces two years in prison or a heavy fine.
As a reminder, Passer reached a speed of 417 km / h, which is only 3 km / h less than the maximum speed of the electronically limited Chiron. In his videos, the millionaire repeatedly emphasizes that safety was a priority during the race, and that he chose a section of the autobahn that was straight and wide, and the race was carried out in good visibility.
