The Investigative Committee has completed an investigation into the case of a 49-year-old serial killer who killed night watchmen and stole money from them, informs “Russian newspaper”. The accused has not been named.
According to investigators, the killer was a resident of the city of Iskitim in the Novosibirsk region. He was detained on suspicion of killing two people: the 66-year-old wife of the chief physician of the Iskitim Central Hospital in the fall of 2020 and a night watchman who worked in the office of a Tomsk construction company in June 2021.
After being detained, the man confessed to four more murders committed from 2009 to 2011. These were robbery attacks on commercial organizations, during which he killed watchmen and stole money.
