The wife of the murdered Sverdlovsk businessman Yevgeny Startsev at the trial, where the suspect was placed under house arrest, revealed some details of the investigation into the case.

According to the publication, it was mobile billing that helped to find the suspect Farid Temirgaliyev. Thanks to the phones, it was possible to establish that he and the deceased Yevgeny Startsev were on the day of the murder in the same forest.
Startsev went missing on September 9, 2021, after he left on a quad bike to hunt in the forest near the Badger Hill garden. His wife filed a complaint with the police the next day. After a search, the body of a man was found near his place of residence, and next to him was a gun.
Later, with the help of studying telephone connections, it was possible to find out that on the same day Farid Temirgaliev and his friend Ilfat were in the forest. And although he denied his guilt and even the existence of conflicts as a motive, the examination showed that the weapon from which the merchant was shot belonged to Temirgaliyev.
