The former assistant of the famous psychologist Andrey Kurpatov is confused in his testimony. Now the young man is in jail on charges of fraud and faces up to 10 years in prison.
According to one version, Aleksey Ievsky moved property and an expensive German car to himself, allegedly took out 40 million rubles from Kurpatov’s company's accounts, but claims he didn't take anything, but received it all as a gift. It’s hard to believe, and here’s why.
The young man also says he is a part-time student at RANEPA and graduated from St. Petersburg University of Civil Aviation, but in his memoirs he writes that he dropped out of school due to failed love in 2016. Ievsky’s career path also raises questions: if you believe the messages on the network, when applying for a job as a psychologist, Alexei’s resume said “I am currently working at Rossiya Airlines as a flight attendant. At the same time, he combined this work with being a personal assistant to the head of the personnel department of Sozvezdie LLC. However, in his biography, he also wrote that “my girlfriend in the company needed a fictitious person for a rate that she would take for herself and work more, and I needed a record in the labor force, so I became a regional coach in one of the leading banks country”. Therefore, it is difficult to draw a clear conclusion to what extent his resume is true.
The rest is similar. For example, Ievsky claims that he met Kurpatov on board the plane during a flight (he really worked as a flight attendant at Rossiya Airlines). In reality, another employee hired Alexei, and Ievsky himself applied for the job. “At the end of 2019, Ievsky A.K. was interviewed by Fedorov A.V. (previous assistant to Kurpatov), after which – I got the impression of a serious and responsible employee, the advantage was that he worked in the service, namely as a flight attendant of the Rossiya airline, – these are the words of the psychologist in the protocol of the confrontation.
In any case, Alexey took on his duties and soon became the general director, and then the founder of Online Production LLC (the company is involved in Kupatov’s Internet projects). However, after some time, the doctor found out that the employees stopped receiving salaries, and about 40 million rubles disappeared from the accounts. Kurpatov apparently held his assistant to account, but he threatened to sell the company to competitors.
Ievsky’s statements also differ regarding Alexei Proreshny. “In small amounts throughout the year, Ievsky transferred money to Online Production LLC, to various accounts and individual entrepreneurs, bought real estate, went on expensive vacations abroad, threw parties with the participation of celebrities. Now investigators are determining all the participants in the scheme,” wrote Komsomolskaya Pravda. – At the moment, the identity of one of the possible accomplices is known – this is Alexei Proreshny, a friend of Alexei Ievsky, with whom he had a close relationship. It was to his individual entrepreneur that significant funds were transferred for fictitious services, which were then withdrawn to cards.
Ievsky denies his acquaintance with Proreshny, which is rather strange, because during a search in the apartment a statement was found that some young people were going to marry in Lisbon. At the same time, representatives of law enforcement agencies allegedly found the seals of state institutions (RANHIGS, KGIOP St. Petersburg, the Federal Air Aviation Agency, the Migration Service, the Interdepartmental Commission for St. Petersburg), a certificate of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation and other dubious documents. If you believe the former assistant psychologist, he was in the civil service, and this is cunning.
In addition, accusations were made that, with the help of powers of attorney, Ievsky rewrote a psychotherapist’s country house under construction near St. Petersburg, an apartment in the city and a Porsche Cayenne car. That’s not counting the embezzlement of the boss’s personal effects and jewelry. Well, the cherry on the cake – Kurpatov found a wiretap at home.
Apparently, the young flight attendant had been preparing for a enrichment operation for a long time, and when the psychologist asked for the return of property and money, he threatened to leak everything into the network. Ievsky clearly hoped that Kurpatov would pay off, letting him go with full pockets. But the case took an unexpected turn – the psychologist went to the police. And the entourage of Ievsky Jr. now claims that he allegedly was in a love correspondence with his leader. The received property, it turns out – gifts, and he generally bought a car with his own. The purchase was indeed made from Ievsky’s card, only the psychologist transferred the money to it.
