In the Pskov region, a sixth grade student wrote on social networks to State Duma deputy Alexander Kozlovsky and spoke about her stepfather’s harassment. Now the man has already been arrested, a criminal case has been initiated against him.
The parliamentarian himself spoke about this.
“On the morning of February 10, a child wrote to me in private messages. A little girl, faced with a non-childish problem, asked for help and advice. A sixth-grader from the Pskov region spoke about harassment by her stepfather. According to the girl, over the past years, the man has shown “interest” in her, ”Kozlovsky explained.
The deputy passed the information to law enforcement agencies. The girl was immediately interrogated in the presence of her mother and a psychologist, and in the evening of the same day the 34-year-old man was detained. As stated in the message of the regional Investigative Committee, in 2020-2022, the accused committed violent acts of a sexual nature against a minor stepdaughter, who was 10 years old at the time the crime began.
