Businessman and founder of Tinkoff Bank Oleg Tinkov spoke out against the war with Ukraine. He believes that the death of people is unacceptable.

“Now in Ukraine, innocent people are dying every day, this is unthinkable and unacceptable! States should spend money on treating people, on research into defeating cancer, and not on war. We are against this war!” he wrote.
Earlier, two Russian billionaires – Mikhail Fridman (Alfa Group) and Oleg Deribaska (Rusal) opposed Russia’s war with Ukraine and called for peace.
The head of the investment company LetterOne, Mikhail Fridman, who is a native of Lvov, sent a letter to the company’s employees saying: “I am convinced that war can never be a solution.”
In addition, Oleg Deripaska, a Russian businessman close to President Putin, also spoke out against the war. “Peace is very important! Negotiations need to start as soon as possible,” he wrote.
