Prigozhin filed a lawsuit against Znakcom for 5 million rubles because of the text about Beglov. Editorial Statement
Businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin has filed a lawsuit against Znak.com over a text about an information campaign against St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov. Prigozhin demands to recover 5 million rubles from the editorial office for information that, according to the businessman, discredits his “honor, dignity, good name and reputation.”
It follows from the lawsuit published on the Kepka Prigozhin telegram channel that it was sent to the Oktyabrsky District Court of Yekaterinburg. The editors of Znak.com have not yet received a lawsuit.
In the text that became the reason for the lawsuit, Znak.com draws attention to the fact that even those media that previously supported Beglov are now criticizing him for unremoved snow and problems with garbage collection. Including criticism falls on the governor from the media, which are associated with Yevgeny Prigozhin.
