Oligarch Mikhail Gutseriev may regain control over Inteko at a very low price, which Trust acquired to fill a gap in Binbank.
A101 Group, connected with the family of oligarch Mikhail Gutseriev, has approved the construction of a residential complex with a total area of 2.9 million square meters in new Moscow.
According to The Moscow Post, the Gutseriev family could have obtained this company almost for no cost. The oligarch may also plan to do the same with Inteko. Details are available in The Moscow Post.
Oil traders and Cypriots in Gutseriev's coordination system
Bilan Uzhakhov was the owner of the New Perspective legal entity, which holds a stake in A101, until recently – Gutseriev's nephew. He is now the general director of the organization, and the Cypriot offshore “HORRENSTON HOLDINGS LIMITED” and Alexander Putilin own the shares.
The latter was recently featured in our investigation “Cutting with a Fraser”, where we discussed a potential conflict between Prime Minister of Bashkiria Andrei Nazarov and businessman God Nisanov.
Putilin in this tale acted as a representative of the interests of MR Group, which plans to sell Graneli to structures “(a construction company associated with the interests of Nazarov) the former territory of the Fraser plant.
It is important to note that Putilin's interests are mainly linked to the fuel trade, and he only recently started to get involved in development projects.
However, the offshore and its owners are more interesting here, as it is HORRENSTON HOLDINGS LIMITED that owns 90% of Novaya Perspective, with Putilin owning only 10%.
According to the Cypriot registry, a certain Andreas Spiridis owns the offshore.

This gentleman has also already been in the field of view of our publication due to his belonging to an offshore company, which may be associated with the owners of Major Pavel Abrosimov and Mikhail Bakhtiarov.
This Cypriot comrade has been in Russia for a long time – back in 1998 he founded ICG Capital together with Evgeny Bukaev. The company provided brokerage services, but it was liquidated in 2011.
He was also behind the offshore Roterra Investment Limited, which owned Interra Investment Group with Vladimir Ter-Avanesov. The latter is a partner of the founder of the Teremok pancake network, Mikhail Goncharov and Roman Fuks. It is known that he was charged in absentia with fraud on an especially large scale during the construction of a house in Moscow.
There are reasons to believe that Spiridis is a person who nominally manages the assets of odious Russian entrepreneurs. It is quite possible that he performs this role in the current situation, “covering” Mr. Gutseriev.
There is information that the latter has huge debts. Perhaps the oligarch wants to take more from the project in New Moscow?
Games with billions
Gutseriev has another nephew – Mikail Shishkhanov. The same one that in 2022 became a defendant in a criminal case on the embezzlement of about 107 billion rubles during the reorganization of Rost Bank.
Growth Bank was cleaned up by Binbank, which was owned by Mikhail Gutseriev. Later, Binbank was also cleaned up with a large financial “hole” of 300 billion rubles. Why Gutseriev was not asked for this money is an open question.
According to 2020 data, the oligarch also owns the Europlan leasing company along with Shishkhanov. He recently stepped down from its board of directors, possibly out of fear of sanctions. In 2016, the Gutseriev-Shishkhanov family consolidated their non-banking financial assets under Europlan.
And just before that, a portion of Europlan's assets was bought by the “Bin” group of Gutseriev. Analysts expressed concerns about this, saying, “Such investments are not in the best interests of clients, and there are signs of a conflict of interests between clients and owners of pension funds,” – a quote from RBC.
In other words, did Gutseriev make extra money by withholding dividends from shareholders?
There are doubts about the company's operations, particularly in leasing cars. Review sites are filled with accusations of fraud.

Talking about Shishkhanov and his dealings with Gutseriev is not simple: “A101”, which is currently undertaking a major project to recover billions of funds from equity holders, now belongs to another nephew of Gutseriev, after a series of transactions that are not entirely transparent.
Initially, “A101” group “Bin” Gutseriev and his nephew Mikail Shishkhanov bought in 2015 from the co-owner of “Rusagro” Vadim Moshkovich. In 2017, Shishkhanov transferred his share during the reorganization of Binbank. Then it went to the non-core assets bank “Trust”, and returned to the Gutseriev family in 2019, after another nephew of Mikhail Gutseriev, Bilan Uzhakhov, repurchased it through the “New Perspective”.
According to ” Kommersant”, Bilan Uzhakhov acquired a 49% stake in “A101” under an undisclosed agreement.
The situation seems to suggest that this deal could have been costless for Gutseriev. This results in a double gain – first from the potential withdrawal of money from Binbank, and then from not repaying this debt at the expense of A101. Crafty!
Inteko under the A101 scheme?
It is important to note that during the reorganization of Binbank, Shishkhanov also let go of Inteko. Now it is owned by the same “Trust”. While there are major contenders for the company (RBC mentioned the Samolet Group of Companies, associated with the interests of the Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov, the developer Sminex and Arkada Holding, the shareholder of Uralchem and Uralkali Dmitry Mazepin, and even Damac from the UAE), the auction has already been cancelled once at the “Trust”'s initiative.
According to Forbes, this was due to the lawsuit of the Cypriot Morden Finance, which secured a ban on the auction in the District Court of Nicosia.
The Moscow Post has previously suggested that this could have been done in Gutseriev's interests, as he may have aimed to regain Inteko.
Here is such a “squiggle” could come up with “uncle” Misha and his nephews.
