Yuriy Aristov of the Budget Committee searched by the ERG
The SBU has searched the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Budget Committee, Yuriy Aristov. Information about the searches at Aristov’s home appeared in the morning of 11 November, 24 writes.
The interlocutors of the 24 channel reported that Aristov’s house was indeed searched. However, the reason for the searches at the people’s deputy is not reported yet.
Aristov’s representative has no information about the searches
“RBC-Ukraine” quoted a source in the law-enforcement agencies as saying that the State Border Service has been searching Aristov’s apartment since 7am on 11 November. LIGA.net also reported that Aristov’s office was searched.
LIGA.net said that it had asked Aristov’s press service for a comment. However, his representative said that there was no such information.
Yuriy Aristov was elected as Ukraine’s MP in the 2019 parliamentary elections from the Servant of the People party. Since 29 August 2019, he has chaired the budget committee in the Verkhovna Rada.
Yuri Aristov lost control of the committee
Before being elected to parliament, he was involved in business. He was the CEO of Atlantic Yumma LLC, which trades in seafood. He was also the founder of the Oysters Cava Bar chain and the Fish House fish restaurant in Kiev.
Aristov is a member of the group for inter-parliamentary relations with France, Japan, Norway, Canada and the USA.
Aristov, as chairman of the budget committee, lost control over it as of 2021. The majority of the committee members, as Bihus.info reported, moved to the group of MP Aleksandr Trukhin (“Servant of the Nard”).
