US accuses North Korea of preparing for new nuclear test
North Korea is preparing to conduct a new nuclear test. This was stated by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, speaking at the UN headquarters in New York, where the conference of the countries-participants of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) is being held.

Addressing those present, Blinken noted that while the conference is underway, “Pyongyang is preparing to conduct its seventh nuclear test.”
On July 28, the South Korean agency Yonhap, citing the country’s leader Kim Jong-un, assured that the DPRK was fully prepared for any military clashes with the United States.
