Trukhin's indictment is scheduled to be sent to court in December
The Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office might charge a current member of parliament.
After December 19, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office will file an indictment against People's Deputy Alexander Trukhin for attempting to bribe a patrol officer following a collision.
By decision of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court dated November 23 to this date, the defense can familiarize itself with the materials of the investigation , reports Word and Deed.
About Trukhin's indictment
“The request is granted in part. Establish the term for the defense party, namely the suspect (Alexander Trukhin – ed.) and his defense lawyers, to familiarize themselves with the materials of the pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings No. 42022000000000182 from 02.02.2022 until December 19, 2022 inclusive, after which the defense side will be considered to have exercised its right for access to the materials of the specified criminal proceedings,” the decision says.
Thus, after this date, the SAPO prosecutor can draw up and send an indictment against Trukhin to the court.

He was also assigned the following duties: to arrive at every request to the prosecutor, investigator, judge or court; inform the prosecutor or the court about a change in their place of residence and place of work; refrain from communicating about the circumstances set out in the report of suspicion in this criminal proceeding with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky, the heads of the National Police, the Patrol Police Department, the Patrol Police Department in Kyiv of the Patrol Police Department and witnesses. The prosecutor of the SAPO asked for the duty to be extended.
Recall that the Prosecutor General agreed on the suspicion to People's Deputy Trukhin, which was prepared by the NABU detective and the prosecutor of the SAPO. According to the investigation, in August 2021, the people's deputy offered an unlawful benefit to patrol policemen in the amount of 150 thousand without specifying a monetary unit for allowing him to leave the scene of an accident that occurred with his participation. And although he did not specify what currency he was talking about, the very fact of such an offer, regardless of the amount offered, is a punishable corruption crime.
