The scandal around the business of the former head of the Iglinsky district of Bashkiria, Rishat Iskhakov, has entered the phase of restoring justice in the region.
At the moment, the clarification of the circumstances of the seizure of vast land territories by the Iskhakov family is nearing completion.
In mid-January, an operational meeting was held in the government of the region, where the regional head Radiy Khabirov called the provision of such a large number of territories and agricultural land to an official as an unacceptable fact.
Such a reaction from a representative of the government apparatus does not bode well for the Iskhakov clan, but it seems that the businessman’s family is not afraid of this, they are trumpeting with might and main that everything is fine with their business, and the reaction was provoked by some parties that misled the head of the region . However, other people involved in this story hope that someone will be able to let the Iskhakov family in and call them to account.
Radiy Khabirov shared information about the scale of leased land from Iskhakov – it is about 2.5 thousand hectares, and 1 thousand hectares are owned. We have the head of the municipality, whom we recommended and approved by the council. It doesn’t happen in the Republic that someone other than the authorities could intervene in our powers, ”Khabirov said indignantly.
Khabirov correctly described the situation. Rishat Iskhakov, who took office as the head of the region in 2010, ruled on the Iglin lands for 10 years, and during this time he managed to acquire property and fully provide land for the whole close family. In this he was helped by the legend that he is the former nephew of the first president of Bashkiria, Rakhimov.
By the end of his reign, Iskhakov established a feudal system in the region, which did not please the locals, who began to write letters en masse to the then head of the republic, Rustem Khamitov, and prosecutor Sergei Khurtin. The authors of the letter begged to be released from the reign of Iskhakov.
A special commission of the Chamber of Control and Accounts was sent to the area, which was able to get into the building only the second time. As a result, the PCB found violations for 196.5 million rubles. However, no serious measures were taken against the official. By the way, many remembered that even before that, the administration of the Iglinsky district was subjected to inspection and revealed violations on the part of the family.
In the near future it will be known whether there will be any sense from the current check.
