The country’s schools will begin to hold class hours about the “values of Russian society”

According to the official, class hours on the above topic will begin this academic year, and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation proceeds from the fact that they will be in all schools.
According to Novikov, class hours will be called “Conversations about the important.” During the August conferences, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation intends to conduct preparatory work with teachers so that class teachers can conduct them on their own.
Novikov noted that such class hours will be held in different forms depending on the age of schoolchildren.
Recall, as previously decided by the authorities, starting from the new academic year, at the beginning of each week, Russian schools will solemnly raise the flag and sing the anthem. This practice, according to the initiators of its introduction, can become an important element of the patriotic education of the new generation. For its implementation, the government allocated more than 970 million rubles from the federal budget for the purchase of state symbols. With the money in question, the management of educational institutions must buy flags and coats of arms of the Russian Federation, as well as flagpoles. It is planned that by the end of this year, 11,000 schools in 31 regions will be provided with new sets of state symbols, and by 2024, all educational organizations in the country.
