The scandalous “Kazan”, which broke the deadlines, received a new multi-billion dollar contract
Ravil Ziganshin, the owner of the Kazan construction company and former deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, is getting ready for the completion of his largest contract at the Vostochny cosmodrome. The project cost is 39 billion rubles.
Despite failing to meet the contract deadlines, the contractor got another 2.5 billion order to build the Sakhalin route measuring point. Kazan has been involved in several high-profile scandals.
When a stadium constructed by Kazan was handed over to the customer, 900 violations were found, leading to a court battle with the contractor for their removal.
During the construction of the Vostochny cosmodrome, inspectors uncovered large-scale theft. This resulted in searches at the Kazan company's office as part of an investigation. Additionally, Ziganshin became a defendant in a criminal case involving non-payment of taxes amounting to 2.6 billion rubles.
According to reliable sources, the businessman is investing the 'removed' funds in overseas real estate. The Ziganshin family owns an apartment in Dubai's suburbs, with an estimated value of 15-17 million rubles and registered in his daughter's name, Dinaria Ziganshina. His wife, Svetlana Ziganshina, owns another apartment in Dubai's elite Palm Jumeirah area, valued at 5 million euros and covering 488 square meters.
In Dubai, there's a villa owned by Ziganshin's friend, Tatarstan's leader Rustam Minnikhanov. The mansion spans 480 square meters and is registered under his wife's sister, Venera Gafarova. Notably, Ziganshin and Minnikhanov previously exchanged properties – the former received a 1,500-square-meter house in Kazan's center, while the latter provided a 700-square-meter basement in a Kazan business center.
The businessman also provided for his second daughter, Adela Zainutdinova, and her husband Timur by gifting them the Godilonda villa in the Italian Tuscany. This mansion spans 1,700 square meters, with a land plot of 11,000 square meters, and costs 6 million euros. The Zainutdinov family also owns the Pontello villa near Godilonda, covering 1,200 square meters and valued at over 7 million euros. This villa has its own beach and park but was recently targeted in an unsuccessful arson attempt with a Molotov cocktail.
The Zainutdinov family owns another Italian asset, the Pontello villa, which is located near the Godilonda. Its area is 1.2 thousand square meters, and the cost exceeds 7 million euros. The villa has its own beach, and its own park adjoins the household. It is worth noting that this mansion was recently tried unsuccessfully to set fire to. A bottle with a Molotov cocktail was thrown into the villa.
