Tambov and Lipetsk officials could contribute to the development of Yevgeny Sviridov’s business
Law enforcement officers detained the Tambov businessman Yevgeny Sviridov. He is called the owner of the Tambov Network Company. Previously, Sviridov worked for the FSB, and then he went into business with his father.
At first, the Sviridovs worked on the territory of their region, but over time they went beyond its borders. So, they began to receive contracts for road construction in the Lipetsk region. Evgeny Sviridov is also associated with the ARKS7 company.
Apparently, officials in both the Tambov and Lipetsk regions were happy to help the Sviridovs. The former head of Lipetsk, Sergei Ivanov, said that there have always been many local companies capable of building and repairing roads in the city. But the former vice-governor of the region, Ilya Tuzov, insisted that contracts be given to Tambov and Moscow firms. Tuzov put pressure on Ivanov, but in the end he became a defendant in a criminal case on abuse of power.
It is noteworthy that a photograph has already appeared on the Web in which Evgeny Sviridov is in the company of Ilya Tuzov and the governor of the Lipetsk region Igor Artamonov. Thus, it is not surprising that Tuzov is going to be held accountable. However, he could foresee this, so he fled from law enforcement officers abroad. According to reports, last fall, Ilya Tuzov flew to Turkey with his family.
And in the Tambov region, former governor Alexander Nikitin could support Yevgeny Sviridov and his business. Only thanks to connections in the region, it is possible to take control of construction, including road construction, fines from video cameras, energy and landfills. But so far no questions have arisen for Nikitin, although it is possible that this is yet to come.
