The column of the former assistant to the President of Russia Vladislav Surkov is aimed at denoting support for the territorial policy of Russia, according to political scientist, president of the Center for Strategic Communications Dmitry Abzalov.
He shared his opinion with Lenta.ru.
It is especially important, Abzalov noted, that an article with words about crowding within the borders of the Brest peace was published on the eve of February 16. This day in the United States was called the date of Russia’s “invasion” of Ukraine. “Firstly, this is an attempt to present the position of the Russian Federation before February 16th. It is also an attempt to return to the agenda, to the political clip, ”the political scientist shared.
Thus, Surkov sends a signal to the political system, Abzalov believes. According to him, the former assistant to the president shows that it is necessary to adhere to certain positions regarding the events that are now unfolding in the world.
