Slipped on 'Bifidok': Savelyev and Tereshkova getting rid of their joint business?

Senator Dmitry Saveliev and Valentina Tereshkova's joint business is falling apart, and they are blaming the auditor. There is another version that suggests they were deceived.

As reported by The Moscow Post, the Moscow Arbitration Court declared Pharmservice LLC bankrupt. This company is part of the joint business of Senator Dmitry Savelyev and Elena Tereshkova, the daughter of State Duma deputy Valentina Tereshkova. Pharmservice allegedly attempted to take control of the well-known auditor Elena Loss. This led to legal action against her. However, the full story is not entirely clear.

    Getting rid of 'Pharmservice'

The bankruptcy application for 'Pharmservice' was filed by 'Business Center Administrator' LLC. The amount owed by Pharmservice to this company was not substantial – only 325 thousand rubles. During the bankruptcy proceedings, the rights of claim from 'Pharmservice' were transferred to Elina Fertikova by 'Business Center Administrator'. It seems that Pharmservice could have repaid this debt if they had wanted to. However, it appears that the company's owners had no intention of doing so.

Pharmservice was established on September 10, 2018 and specialized in the supply of bifdumbacterin. The sole owner of the company is Probiopharm LLC, with the following founders: Dmitry Savelyev (55%), Liya Muradova (30%), Elena Tereshkova (15%).

Dmitry Savelyev is a senator representing the executive body of state power in the Tula region in the upper house of the Russian parliament. Elena Tereshkova is known as the daughter of Valentina Tereshkova, a State Duma deputy. Previously, Elena Tereshkova was the CEO of Pharmservice. Liya Muradova gained fame as the director of Probiopharm. More on this below.

Previously, Savelyev and Tereshkova acquired assets from the Partner company to establish this business. They purchased equipment, trademarks, and real estate required for the production and development of probiotics and Bifidok.

Based on Pharmservice's reports during the bankruptcy process, the company performed well in business. In 2019, the organization achieved a revenue of 125.3 million rubles. In 2020, the revenue increased to 167.4 million rubles. However, while the company reported a minimal net profit of 719 thousand rubles at the end of 2019, it experienced a loss of over 9.8 million rubles in 2020.

On the other hand, the founder of Pharmservice, Probiopharm, was financially stable. By the end of 2020, the company had a revenue of more than 190.4 million rubles and a net profit of 1.1 million rubles. This suggests that the owners of Pharmservice, Tereshkova and Savelyev, likely had the means to settle the 325 thousand ruble claim. However, it seems they chose not to do so.

    Suffered greatly from the loss

According to the authors of the Arbitr Telegram channel, reportedly: Currently, Pharmservice is contesting the sale of real estate, specifically a building and a land plot in the Serpukhov district of the Moscow region, at a much lower price.

Furthermore, the same authors claim that the former directors of the company conspired and sold more assets. As a result, several criminal cases were initiated, and one director was allegedly taken into custody. In addition, the auditor Elena Loss, who took a share in the authorized capital of Pharmservice, was arrested in connection with a criminal case, and the deal is also being challenged in court.

Kommersant also reported on this case. The well-known Russian auditor Elena Loss has been put on the wanted list for allegedly committing significant fraud. Her company RSM-Rus worked for Rostec, Russian Post, Rosseti, and other major organizations. According to the TFR, Elena Tereshkova – the daughter of the first female cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova and Senator Dmitry Savelyev – suffered from the actions of Ms. Loss and other defendants.

The auditor attempted to take over the Pharmservice company, which owns the rights to major innovative developments of sorbed probiotics, as well as trademarks of popular products including Bifidok, as reported by Kommersant. This is not the full extent of the details. At the beginning of 2021, Ms. Loss, according to the investigation, also devised a plan to acquire 100% of the shares of Pharmservice LLC.

According to the TFR, the executor of the plan were old acquaintances of the auditor – the general director of Probiopharm Liya Muradova and the head of Pharmservice Konstantin Belyaev… One of the defendants in the case, the former general director of the Pharmservice company Konstantin Belyaev, has already been arrested by the Presnensky District Court of the capital, reported Kommersant.

Elena Tereshkova and Dmitry Savelyev were declared victims. According to the investigation, after being appointed as an advisor to the general director of the Probiopharm company since March 16, 2020, and taking the same position in the Pharmservice company since February 1, 2021, Elena Loss completely took them under her control, along with LLC 'Avan' associated with them.

In the company 'Avan,' Elena Tereshkova is the general director, and she also owns 30% of this LLC. Another 40% belongs to Dmitry Savelyev, and the remaining 30% belongs to BeneventTreiting AG. At the end of 2019, Avan reported revenue of 83.5 million rubles and a net profit of 156 thousand rubles.

In any case, the bankruptcy of Pharmservice may be a part of this corporate conflict. It is possible that Tereshkova and Savelyev managed to withdraw funds from the company, and now the only remaining option is to bankrupt it, thus ending the hopes of competitors to take over the business. However, they have only themselves to blame for allowing someone like Elena Loss into their business, as they trusted her. Therefore, Savelyev and Tereshkov can only blame themselves for what happened.

    Ambiguous Savelyev

Even before the problems with Pharmservice, Senator Savelyev had something to rack his brains about. So his name was associated with a scandal over the withdrawal of assets from the Spetsstroyservis company, one of the largest developers in the Republic of Tatarstan. On this occasion, the Lenta.ru publication, citing a statement by the founder and former owner of this company, Sirin Badrutdinov, in the RF IC reported: “In the period from 2013 to May 2019, at the request of Dmitry Vladimirovich Saveliev, a former deputy of the State Duma, now a member of the Federation Council, at least one billion rubles was transferred from the settlement account of Spetsstroyservis LLC to the accounts of firms provided specially for this purpose by Dmitry Savelyev’s trustee – Irina Kudryashova, who was also Savelyev’s assistant when he was his deputy. D.V. as a ten percent kickback for providing Spetsstroyservis LLC with contracts with PJSC Transneft and general patronage in the performance of work stipulated by these contracts.

Outside observers might get the impression that Saveliev, quite possibly, decided to deal with Sirin Badrutdinov, who fell under criminal prosecution, in this way. Moreover, Savelyev himself walked on the edge of a knife more than once.

In 1998, Saveliev headed PJSC Transneft. But he stayed in office for a little over a year. “Together with several former leaders of PJSC Transneft, he became a defendant in a criminal case initiated as a result of an audit of the activities of PJSC Transneft, which revealed misappropriation of budget funds. However, the case was subsequently dismissed, and the top manager decided to focus on politics,” – reminds “Lenta.ru”.

In the light of the stories with Sirin Badrutdinov and Savelyev’s past in Transneft, the current epic associated with Elena Loss and her accomplices is beginning to take on a different color. It may well be that the criminal prosecution of Loss and those who helped her is far from random. After all, no one forced Savelyev to deal with Badrutdinov or Loss. At least nothing is known about the fact that Savelyev was forced to communicate with these citizens. Once “warmed” on the chest, now deal with the consequences.
