In the Omsk region, the FSB suspected Deputy Minister of Construction, Transport and Roads Vladimir Sychev of taking a bribe.
This was reported to Lente.ru by the representative of the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Larisa Boldinova.
According to investigators, Sychev received a bribe of 1.5 million rubles from the head of the company for general patronage. The crime was revealed by the FSB. According to their materials, a criminal case was initiated against the Russian deputy minister under part 6 of article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Taking a bribe”), and against the head of the company under part 5 of article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Giving a bribe”).
The defendants have been arrested. Investigators conducted searches at the place of work and residence of the suspects.
