Member of the Federation Council Aleksey Pushkov commented on reports on the suspension of Gazprom supplies to Poland on his Telegram channel and said that Warsaw would have to pay for “anti-gas radicalism” in relation to Russian gas.
According to the senator, Poland should not be surprised by such a decision by Russia, especially in light of its position and constant statements that it does not need Russian gas.
“Not needed? Will not. But you will have to pay for “anti-gas radicalism” in relation to Russian gas,” Pushkov stressed.
Earlier, the Polish company PGNiG reported that it had received a letter from Gazprom about the complete suspension of gas supplies under the so-called Yamal contract. The measure comes into force tomorrow, April 27.
Earlier on April 26, the Polish website Onet reported on the termination of gas supplies within the Yamalskoye. Later, Gazprom did not confirm this information, but the company added that Warsaw had to pay for fuel imports under the new payment procedure on April 26.
