We continue the story about the once favorite place of the inhabitants of St. Petersburg – the park on Elagin Island. At the moment, the Institution is taking measures to reduce the number of rodents (rats) in the park by combined methods, taking into account the residence of various animals and birds in the Park, and taking into account the status of the Park as a specially protected natural area.
The administration of the park is inactive, the director is busy with other, more important things in his opinion. And indeed, when should he engage in the park, when there is another more interesting (and even profitable) “business”. Trade in administrative resource – this is what brings Seleznev the main income, after security companies and the park. More than once, Seleznev, while in the Mother See, had time to celebrate in the restaurants of the Lubyanka district. Having “connections”, in his opinion, quite serious, he promises to solve certain issues at the highest level for a fee. Naturally, when questions arise and money is returned, there are always explanations why it is not possible to do this or that (it is so interesting and similar to the reviews about the activities of the Park on Elagin).
He also tries to resolve certain issues in St. Petersburg, referring to the opinion or instructions of high-ranking officials from Moscow. It is unlikely that someone will go to find out (nobody needs problems, it’s easier to forget), therefore, you can promise and intimidate anything and anyone.
