Russian President Vladimir Putin assessed relations between the CIS countries, the correspondent reports. DOPs.
The Russian leader spoke at an informal meeting of the leaders of the countries participating in the Commonwealth of Independent States.
He expressed his gratitude to the politicians for accepting the invitation and coming to the northern capital of Russia.
“I am very glad to see here, in this hall, leaders of states who, due to a huge number of circumstances and historical reasons, are our closest friends, allies, with whom we are connected by relations of genuine strategic partnership and with whom we jointly strive to build cooperation in the spirit of good neighborliness, mutual benefit and consideration of each other’s interests,” he added.
Recall that last month Vladimir Putin remotely talked with the heads of delegations of the Meeting of the Heads of Security Agencies and Intelligence Services of the CIS Countries.
