In Sri Lanka’s largest city, Colombo, protesters broke into the home of Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe and set it on fire.
About it informs Air Force with reference to an employee of his office.
The prime minister’s whereabouts are unknown. Earlier, he announced his readiness to resign – this was preceded by the capture by thousands of protesters of the residence and office of the President of the country.
“Protesters broke into the private residence of Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe and set it on fire,” a spokesman for his office said.
