People's Deputy called on the SBU to deal with all those sabotaging the bill on Pan-Euro-Med
For more than six months, bill No. 0151 on amending the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Moldova (Pan-Euro-Med) has been in Parliament. This time is quite enough to eliminate all the shortcomings and submit it for consideration to the Verkhovna Rada. This was announced in an exclusive commentary to UNN by a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Anti-Corruption Policy, People's Deputy Irina Friz.
She called the delay in considering the bill sabotage and called on the SBU to deal with everyone involved.

“Half a year is more than enough to eliminate all the shortcomings of the bill. I think that this is a kind of middle-level sabotage and, in my opinion, it should be under the watchful eye of the SBU,” she said.
In fact, due to the fact that the bill has not yet been adopted by the deputies, trade between Ukraine and Moldova is possible only under the Free Trade Area Agreement with the CIS, which Ukraine has not yet denounced.
“If we are talking about the fact that the actual founder of this CIS is Russia, with which we are waging a merciless war, then any agreements that bind us with this organization must be broken. And any sabotage of the termination of these agreements, from my point of view, should be under the close scrutiny of law enforcement agencies,” Friz emphasized.
She assured that the deputies are ready to support the relevant government initiative to terminate the next agreement between Ukraine and CIS.
“I am sure that we must switch to bilateral relations with countries that are still part of this half-dead association, so we will not hesitate and are ready to vote for this initiative for the basis and in general,”— Freese summarized.
Recall
Last year, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal and Prime Minister of Moldova Natalia Gavrilice signed a protocol between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Moldova on amending the Free Trade Agreement between the two countries.
According to Denis Shmygal, the changes to the present The agreement involves the application of the Pan-Euro-Mediterranean rules of origin of goods.
At the same time, in order to implement this protocol, the Verkhovna Rada must adopt bill 0151 on amending the Free Trade Agreement, which is still within the walls of the Verkhovna Rada Glad and has not yet been put to a vote. Therefore, when passing through customs, exporters are forced to use the Agreement on a free trade zone with the CIS, in which, among other things, Russia is also present. In particular, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine insists on this.
