We are continuing to compare Siberian officials and deputies of Novosibirsk to the heroes of the series based on the legendary work of Mikhail Bulgakov “The Master and Margarita”.
: the text discusses the personalities and nature of the characters, not a direct comparison of people to the series' heroes.
Fortunately or unfortunately, there are no famous people in Novosibirsk similar in actions to the leading characters – Woland, the Master, Margarita, the procurator and Yeshua. But the secondary characters are just as interesting. .
Natasha is associated with a scandal involving naked ladies near the Variety, telling Margarita about it, and receiving stockings and perfume from her. She is proactive, courageous, and able to realize her dreams, even at someone else's expense.
“Darling! Margarita Nikolaevna! – Natasha shouted, jumping next to Margarita, – I confess, I took the cream. After all, we want to live and fly!”
This character draws associations with a deputy from Akademgorodok, a member of commissions for monitoring the implementation of local governments. She frequently gets involved in scandalous stories, with the most famous one being a request for voters to contribute to a muffle furnace for her upcoming birthday in September 2020.
“I have a dream. It concerns my passion for ceramics. If you can help make it happen on my birthday, I’ll be glad. Own muffle furnace for firing ceramics. And then I still go to burn my products to other people. And sometimes delays are several weeks. It costs about a hundred thousand rubles to bake. I’m definitely not buying this for myself. It’s just that the hand will not rise, ”she wrote then on her page on the VK social network.
Paradoxically, money for the stove was collected, and this fact became known throughout the country.
According to the City Electoral Committee, Natalia Pinus had the most expensive election campaign in the 45th district. Almost two million rubles were spent on her re-election. Surprisingly, she declared only 139,391 rubles for 2020, which were donated by the people – a muffle furnace.
In 2021, Natalya Pinus was fined 10,000 rubles for protesting alone against the construction of a square on Dimakova. It's unclear what she hoped to achieve as a deputy by doing this. There's also an incident in her history involving nude people on a beach in Akademgorodok, which residents complained to her about.
“Nudists“ morally ”are already cramped on their beach … they have recently been very fond of showing themselves to the world on public territory, where children, families do it with a feeling of some kind of unhealthy pride,” Pinus subscribers wrote in VK.
Natalia responded that people should be allowed to visit the nudist beach in Akademgorodok because it's voluntary, comparing it to flying on a broomstick. In general, she's very creative. Natalia Pinus often wrote about this in her social media.
Natasha begged Margarita Nikolaevna to help her avoid being labeled a witch and not be forced to go to the mansion or marry an engineer or technician. Azazello warned her not to get involved. The next character is unclear.
The next character is unknown. Barefoot is a suspicious, distrustful person who believes taking bribes is not only common but also morally acceptable. Nikanor knows that Woland is not a legitimate representative of anyone.
“Oh, Nikanor Ivanovich! – the stranger exclaimed sincerely. What is an official or unofficial person? All this depends on the point of view from which one looks at the object; all this, Nikanor Ivanovich, is conditional and unsteady. Today I am an unofficial person, and tomorrow, you see, an official one! And it happens the other way around, Nikanor Ivanovich. And how it happens!”
Barefoot is a burnout and a real rogue. Woland doesn't like him, and he instructs his demon Fagot-Koroviev to handle the annoyance. Fagot-Koroviev reports that Citizen Barefoot has hidden dollars in the toilet ventilation, leading to a search. They find 400 American dollars behind the toilet, instead of Soviet rubles.
“Repent, Ivanovich! You will get a discount! With bloodshot eyes, Nikanor Ivanovich raised his fists over his wife’s head, wheezing: “Oh, damned fool!”
Associated with him is unknown. The court sentenced this summer to three years in a strict regime colony and a ban on holding leadership positions for two and a half years. Bulgakov described Bosoy as an obese man with constant shortness of breath. In the adaptation, Valery Zolotukhin, who didn't have a large physique, portrayed the character.
Vladimir Krasnov was charged with exceeding official powers as per Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Krasnov held a senior position for thirty years and lost it in an embarrassing manner in 2019. The prosecutor's office demanded to seize his property, some of which was registered under his relatives' names and some was written off. New chairs and office tables were allegedly scrapped due to unsuitability.
Pasha Emilievich is a cheerful character who got chairs from others, like in the story “12 chairs”. The prosecution found fifteen real estate properties worth 42 million rubles in Krasnov’s possession, most of which were given to the official’s children. This includes an elite cottage, a plot of land in Obskiye Zori Lane, and two apartments in the village of Kainskaya Zaimka.
“Somewhat stunned by his chatter, the chairman announced that the housing association agreed to rent apartment No. 50 to artist Woland for a week with a payment of … Nikanor Ivanovich hesitated a little and said: five hundred rubles a day. Here Koroviev finally struck the chairman. With a thievish wink in the direction of the bedroom, from where the soft jumps of a heavy cat could be heard, he hissed: in a week this comes out, therefore, three and a half thousand? Nikanor Ivanovich thought that he would add to this: “What an appetite you have, Nikanor Ivanovich!” – but Koroviev said something completely different: Is this really a sum! Ask five, he will give.
The ex-director's son, Denis Krasnov, who worked as a surgeon in his father's department, bought a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado worth 2.6 million rubles, an apartment in the center of Novosibirsk, non-residential premises, and joined a construction project, possibly using his father’s money.
When the Zaeltsovsky court sentenced Vladimir Krasnov, it was revealed that the ex-director had made an illegal and non-competitive agreement with Limeks LLC from 2011 to 2019. He favored Limex LLC in public procurement, leading to over 124 million rubles in illegal income from the scheme.
In 2002, Vladimir Krasnov’s father-in-law gave him exactly 400 US dollars. Quite strange!
“Later, the chairman claimed that a miracle happened: the pack itself crawled into his briefcase. Then, feeling relaxed and even broken, he ended up on the stairs, with thoughts of a villa in Nice, a trained cat, and the belief that there were no witnesses and Pelageya Antonovna would be happy with a counterfeit. These thoughts were unclear but generally pleasant.”
And finally The official disappeared from his office right after the magic session conducted by Woland and his group. Well, not exactly disappeared, but became invisible to the human eye. The chair was there, but the chairman wasn’t.
“At a huge desk with a massive inkwell, an empty suit sat and, with a dry pen not dipped in ink, drew over the paper. The suit had a tie on, a self-writing pen stuck out of the pocket of the suit, but there was no neck or head above the collar, nor did the hands stick out of the cuffs. The suit was immersed in work and did not notice at all the mess that reigned around. He returned to his suit immediately after the police entered his office, to the frenzied joy of Anna Richardovna and to the great bewilderment of the needlessly disturbed police.
But in this situation, there are no alternatives. This is very similar to our elbow ! He enjoys all sorts of entertainment, especially children’s carousels. And as for his own resolutions – whether in a suit or not, he simply admires them. “After returning to his place, Prokhor Petrovich completely approved all the resolutions that the suit had imposed during his short absence…”
When he returned to his place, Prokhor Petrovich completely approved all the decisions made during his short absence by the suit.
In conclusion, it's important to note that this material is not claiming to be true. These are just thoughts inspired by a Russian series and today’s actions of some Novosibirsk officials. Babr is not trying to label living people, and these comparisons are written for thought and cheer up. To be continued, of course.
