Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will head a special council to ensure the tasks of the special operation.
This is mentioned in the approved by the head of state Vladimir Putin to-do list on issues of meeting the needs arising in the course of a special operation. The Russian leader instructed Mikhail Mishustin to head a special coordination council to ensure the tasks of the military operation, reports RBC.
The President gave the task to prepare a draft decree on the formation of a coordinating council under the Government of the Russian Federation in order to meet the needs that arise during the conduct of a special operation. This council will be headed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
The council will include: representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, etc.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin signed decree “On the introduction of martial law in the territories of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Luhansk People’s Republic, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.” It is introduced on October 20, 2022 from zero hours in the indicated territories.
To the State Duma of Russia received a letter heads of state. He notified the State Duma about the introduction of martial law in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
According to media reportsthe Federation Council adopted a resolution approving the decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on the introduction of martial law in the above territories.
