The World Court fined the mayor of Veliky Novgorod, Sergei Busurin, 25,000 rubles for poor-quality street cleaning from snow.
This was reported by the joint press service of the courts of the Novgorod region.
Employees of the State traffic inspectorate on January 11 recorded the facts of poor-quality cleaning of urban areas. The mayor’s office, according to the law, should have taken steps to change the situation, but did not.
When considering the case, the judge found that the condition of the roads and streets of Veliky Novgorod did not meet the requirements of the state standard.
