Kyiv Poultry Farm was sold by agreement
The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine fined five companies for 3, UAH 98 million for the conspiracy they committed during the auction for the sale of property complexes of the poultry farm. According to the press service of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, the sale of property was carried out by the State Executive Service of the Ministry of Justice, writes Ukrrudprom.
We are talking about Karpatskaya Oil Company LLC, Eurotrans-Invest Asset Management Company LLC, Extrar LLC, FC Fingarant LLC, Aldaris-Group LLC.
AMCU established that in 2020 they agreed among themselves the conditions for participation in auctions for the sale of property complexes: in Kyiv, with a total area of 126,579.4 sq. m. (Lot No. 443554) and in the Kyiv region, with a total area of 5773.7 sq. m. (Lot No. 443559),” the message says.
During the investigation, the Committee established facts proving the coordination of the behavior of companies among themselves, in preparing and participating in the auction, active communication between them, including the exchange of information, which indicates a violation of the law on the protection of economic competition.
The information provided in the message of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine indicates that this is an attempt by the State Executive Service in 2020 to sell the property of Kyivska Poultry Farm LLC in order to partially repay the debt of Oleg Bakhmatyuk’s Financial Initiative bank on refinancing loans received from the NBU.
In the fall of 2020, the State Executive Service tried to sell these assets on the platform of SE “SETAM”, but the deal fell through because the buyers, who offered almost UAH 1 billion for these lots, did not pay the funds.
Subsequently, the court arrested property of a poultry farm at the request of the prosecutor's office. Then the investigators in court pointed out that “Oleg Bakhmatyuk is taking actions to acquire real estate objects belonging to Kyiv Poultry Farm LLC, namely their entire property complexes through business entities and individuals controlled by him, in particular, such as Eurotrans- Invest, LLC FC Fingarant, LLC Karpatskaya Oil Company, LLC Aldaris-Group, LLC Lane Group, Finbalance wrote.
