The scandalous purchase of the iPhone 13 by the Kurakhovo mayor's office became a record during the war
Kurakhovskaya city military administration (Donetsk region) this autumn acquired two dozen iPhone 13 phones for 970 thousand hryvnias, according to the Prozorro system.
The prices of Kurakhov's iPhones are the highest among all purchases of mobile phones under the code 32250000-0, which were published during the invasion in Prozorro and discovered by the monitors of Our Money.
Fifteen iPhone 13s with a memory of 256 GB were bought at UAH 50,700 per piece (purchase worth UAH 760,000, supplier of FLP Ryabets Natalia Alexandrovna). Five more iPhones 13,128 GB were bought for 42,000 hryvnias (purchase worth 210,000 hryvnias, supplier of Gloria Techno-Group LLC).
This purchase is already being discussed in social networks. One of the users of the Prozorro system filed a complaint with the State Audit Service.

There were no more such purchases of expensive phones. Only the Ivano-Frankivsk Drama Theater named after Ivan Franko allowed itself in November to buy an iPhone 13,128 GB for 34,000 hryvnias.
The bulk of customers bought Xiaomi Redmi at a price of up to 14,000 hryvnias or Samsung.
Among the purchases of Samsung, the purchase of the executive committee of the Mariupol City Council stands out. The mayor’s office of the occupied city, now based in Zaporozhye, purchased a hundred Galaxy A53 5G 6/128 Gb smartphones for UAH 16,150 in September (total purchase amount UAH 1.65 million).
The largest of the eight hundred analyzed by Our Money » procurement of smartphones is the acquisition by the defense department of the Poltava Regional State Administration of three hundred Blackview DV4900 Pro 4/64 GB phones for a total amount of UAH 1.91 million. They were much cheaper than all the above-mentioned smartphones — UAH 6,350 each.
