Deputy Prosecutor General Sergei Zaitsev was told about lawlessness in the Kurgan region. The Agroinvest company, which three years ago leased land with an area of 3.9 thousand hectares, faced it.
The leased lands belonged to the residents of the region and the Tselinny municipal district. The lease period is until July 1, 2022. At the same time, Agroinvest, in accordance with the law, could complete the cycle of agricultural work that had begun.
However, in the spring, one of the shareholders applied to the court. Rais Sabirov demanded to impose interim measures on the leased lands and to completely terminate the contract with Agroinvest. The court granted the plaintiff’s claim. At the same time, the judge did not understand the situation, since it took him only 17 minutes to make a decision.
As a result, the Agroinvest company was unable to carry out sowing work, and it spent about 10 million rubles on their preparation. But LLC “Matveevskoye” carried out sowing campaigns. The company was not embarrassed by the fact that Agroinvest was engaged in preparing the land for sowing. However, he was also the official land tenant.
OOO Matveevskoye is reportedly owned by local MP Sergei Melnikov. Formally, the company is registered to his son. Agroinvest has to suffer losses and deal with the lawsuit of Sabirov, who seems to be connected with Melnikov. The management of Agroinvest hopes that the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation will be able to influence the situation, since the local police cannot do this.
