How did you manage to find out The Moscow Post, this site could be transferred to “Graneli” on a voluntary-compulsory basis through the mediation of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
Choice without choice
The location for the residential complex is very good – literally in Polezhaevskaya metro station is located a few hundred meters from the warehouses.
The developer has already begun to transfer legal entities to buildings in the neighborhood. For example, on 5th Magistralnaya Street, the company SZ Boltino, owned by the Granel Group of Companies, has been registered since December 9.
The seller of the site is JSC North Cargo, which once belonged to Mostransekspeditsiya and a number of others now liquidated legal entities. These companies were owned by a number of little-known individuals who were not seen in ties with politicians, oligarchs or big businessmen, and who are not themselves.
Judging by information from the company's website, it owns storage facilities at 5th Magistralnaya and provides appropriate storage services. Sites with reviews put the services provided with a solid four “plus”, and the company's revenue and profit, according to the latest data, is growing. =”include-img” loading=”lazy” title=""Granel" in stock, or new "PIK" for Sobyanin" type="image/png" alt=""Granel" in stock, or new " “PIK” for Sobyanin" />

In this regard, the question arises – why do companies sell their assets? It is possible that they were forced to make a deal under the pressure of influential people.
Quietly to Moscow
“Granel” has recently very actively directed the vector of its development to Moscow. Recently, she was negotiating the acquisition of the premises of the former Frazer plant from MR Group. But here the developer may have problems against the background of the fact that part of the territory is leased by God Nisanov and Zakhar Iliev, Kyiv Ploshchad, who are not famous for being ready to give away assets where their interests are. We covered this story in detail in the “Cutting with a Frazier” investigation.
Interestingly, MR Group itself bought the asset quite recently, but is already preparing to resell it to Graneli. Apparently, under Nazarov, this territory was originally bought out, but the prime minister did not want to “shine”.
Potential reasons for this behavior may be not so much fear towards Nisanov and Iliev, but rather unwillingness to attract the attention of the public, which has heard a lot about the Granel scandals.
Here it is worth recalling the story in Reut, near Moscow, where instead of “and the fire station, under the” stormy silence “of the Moscow Region authorities and supervisory authorities, high-rise buildings were built.
Granel completed the construction of the Opalikha Park residential complex, and, as the media wrote, in some cases put forward demands to people or pay extra for large areas, or be content with smaller ones, deciding to earn extra money on deceived equity holders.
The contractors are not pleased with the organization either – as Novy Vzglyad, an entrepreneur who worked with Granel, wrote that the company's operations involve bringing related companies to the facility and making contracts with contractors through intermediary companies, and then causing these related firms to go bankrupt. As a result, the contractors hired by Granel are left with nothing.
There are many similar stories, and Andrey Nazarov is not happy to be reminded of them now.
Looking at the financial performance of firms connected to the same newly established Boltino shipyard, it's clear that things are not going well. “Boltino” is registered with SZ Granel Ilyinskoye LLC, which is owned by SZ Granel LT and SZ Granel DP. Their shares are pledged by Sberbank. So, is the entire new project funded by bank money?

The head “Granel” is also facing financial difficulties. In the management company, the revenue is insignificant at 326 million rubles for the entire group. Moreover, the revenue seems to be artificially inflated.
Alternate airfield of the prime minister
It is rumored that Nazarov is planning to resign due to the numerous claims against him.
Recently, law enforcement officers detained the First Deputy Minister of Transport and Roads of Bashkiria, Viktor Zhulkov. As The Moscow Post reported in its investigation, the detention may be related to the scandal that arose after it was discovered that the Ministry of Transport of the Republic and the administration of Sibay had “doubled” the contract.
The Kizildorstroy company, owned by Artur Khakimov. His son, Timur Arturovich, also owns shares in the large research and production association Orgneftegaz. A subsidiary of the latter was a major supplier of coronavirus funds for the State Institution “Technical Support of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bashkortostan”, which is directly subordinate to the republican Ministry of Health. This institution is connected to Nazarov.
So the detention of Zhulkov could be very troublesome for the prime minister.
Another recent scandal involves Andrey Nazarov's associate Ildar Suyushev, who is promoting a gold mining project near residential buildings despite the dissatisfaction of residents and possible illegality. None of the authorities are stopping him, one could even say they are turning a blind eye.
At the same time, there were rumors of Nazarov's gubernatorial ambitions. There were talks that Radiy Khabirov was not very pleased with this. So, there might be a hidden struggle between politicians.
Terrible for soap
It is possible that due to these and other troubles affecting Mr. Nazarov, he is now focusing on development projects. These projects are not in Bashkiria, where he has faced embarrassment and political risks, but in relatively calm Moscow.
Moreover, Nazarov is said to have good relations with the capital's mayor Sergei Sobyanin. And not only with him, but also with the Agency for Housing Mortgage Lending (AHML), and in general with the City Administration.
Recently, Sobyanin sharply reprimanded the PIK corporation for failing to meet the deadlines for the construction of social facilities. And this company, by the way, is considered one of the favorites of the capital's mayor. But with the amount of trouble that had accumulated over the years of the company's operation and its rather precarious financial situation, Sobyanin apparently decided to find himself a new “friend”. Why not Granel?
