From five days to five years. Pelosi’s husband is on trial for drunk driving
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband is on trial for drunk driving.
It is reported by CBS News.
Financier Paul Pelosi pleads not guilty to drunk driving charges in May in Northern California. Then Pelosi’s Porsche collided with a Jeep.
The prosecutor’s office treated the incident as a minor offense due to injuries sustained by the driver of the Jeep. If found guilty, 82-year-old Paul Pelosi faces a minimum of five days in prison and up to five years on probation, reports the Associated Press.
After the accident, Pelosi was arrested and later released on $5,000 bail. He did not personally participate in the court session on August 3, CBS News writes.
