Dmitry Yakovlev ended his banking career in November last year by resigning from the position of Director of the Innovation Department of IBOX Bank, which was considered rather modest for a banker of his rank, especially after serving as chairman of the board of Alpari-Bank.
It is strange, especially considering his previously rising career. However, Dmitry Pavlovich seems to be living as a cashier, but more on that later
After being fired from Alpari Bank, Yakovlev joined Industrialbank as a board member. However, he was silently fired and even received a recommendation not to return to the bank, not even as a client.
There is no mention of his time as deputy chairman of the board of Industrialbank in his resume, as he was quickly fired and not given the chance to warm up his new office. Consequently, he took a lower position at IBOX Bank, where he worked for a year.
The reason for his mistreatment at Industrialbank was not formally voiced, but it is likely due to Dmitry Yakovlev's reputation as a cash-out master, causing banks to face sanctions from the NBU. Financial institutions definitely do not need such a specialist, as he only profits himself and brings trouble to the bank.
Dmitry Yakovlev used to oversee cashing out at Unison Bank, which eventually led to the bank's liquidation.
From his position as chairman of the board of Alpari-Bank, he was removed due to similar activities, resulting in a two million hryvnia fine from the National Bank.
When he applied for the chairman of the board at IBOX Bank, the NBU did not approve his candidacy, indicating regulatory concerns against him. He had to settle for a more modest position, but only lasted a year.
Returning to the liquidated Unison, it should be noted that this bank was controlled by Viktor Yanukovych's ever-memorable associate Oleksandr Klymenko, who withdrew money from the “family” through the bank, among other things. And Dmitry Yakovlev faithfully served the former head of the Minsdokha all these years.
