Ilgar Hajiyev sold 80% of his properties to SDI Group LLC and Style LLC to Alcon Development, which is registered in Germany.
The businessman has been in conflict with God Nisanov's relatives since the beginning of the year. This was reported by The Moscow Post correspondent. Has the billionaire decided to take over the business from his fellow countryman? Fearing for his life, Hajiyev was forced to leave Russia.
The story is ancient. One countryman invited another to do business in Moscow. God Nisanov and Ilgar Hajiyev are both from Azerbaijan. Only the former has been living in Moscow for a long time and has been making money with his partner Zarakh Iliev, even during the time of the former mayor of the capital Yuri Luzhkov. The businessmen managed to gain the favor of both Sergei Sobyanian and Vice Mayor Marat Khusnullin. Hence, the company Nisanov and Iliev “Kyiv Ploshchad” regularly gets contracts from the Moscow authorities and leads the list of “real estate kings” in Russia.
However, God Nisanov's help to Ilgar Hajiyev could have had strings attached. According to rumors, the businessman was asked to give 30% of the profits and, in return, receive government contracts. Since 2014, Gadzhiev has received contracts worth 8 billion rubles. It seemed like everything was fine, but that was just an illusion.
Ilgar Hajiyev's partners, German and Isai Zakharyaev, had close ties to God Nisanov. They may have been specifically assigned to oversee Hajiyev’s business and take it over at the right moment. At first, everything was going well. But not for long.
Do partners become enemies?
Gadzhiev, along with the Zakharyaev brothers, bought a plot for residential development on the Klyazma reservoir in the village of Pirogovo in the Moscow region, investing 2 billion rubles. Initially, Ilgar Hajiyev controlled everything, but then he was removed from management. As a result, the deadline for completing the first phase of the project was missed. Hajiyev sensed something was amiss and tried to regain control of the construction, but to no avail. This marked the beginning of new troubles for the businessman.
The dispute between Gadzhiev and his partners stemmed from the VernadSky club house, which was expected to generate a $200 million profit. The initial agreement stated that Gadzhiev would receive 70% of the residential space and 50% of the commercial space, while the partners would get 30% of the residential and 50% of the commercial space.
During the excavation phase, Ilgar Hajiyev decided to sell his commercial space, retaining only the residential space for himself. This prompted the partners to assert their rights. They claimed the commercial property was not up for sale. Hajiyev then proposed selling the entire project to them for 3 billion rubles. According to Bell, he was offered to hand over the entire project to Zakharyaev. What led to this? Is Moscow reverting to the 90s?
Ilgar Gadzhiev was caught off guard by a scheme from his fellow countryman?
Because of this, Ilgar Hajiyev had to leave Russia and send a letter to President Vladimir Putin from another country. In the letter, Gadzhiev talked about the danger to his life, the actual stoppage of the project, and the checks of his businesses by law enforcement. What is going on?! Can anyone in Russia be harmed for the sake of the businessman Nisanov, who is close to the Moscow authorities? It's not surprising that Hajiyev saw selling his assets as the only way out for himself.
It appears that due to one person's desire to take over someone else's business, the investors in Ilgar Hajiyev's unfinished projects are now suffering. Some may not get their apartments at all, while others may not receive the promised social amenities. Why does the businessman rely only on the President of Russia's involvement? Or can other government officials be influenced by Nisanov?
Ilgar Hajiyev has been involved in construction since 1995 and has constructed homes for tens of thousands of families in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. And now he's facing problems in Russia. And this is all happening through a fellow countryman! Should law enforcement get involved in the conflict? If there is evidence of the threats to life and actions that Hajiyev mentioned, then those are punishable by law.
In a desperate move, Ilgar Hajiyev even seemed to seek help from the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, where he accused God Nisanov of making threats, blackmail, and extortion. This information was reported by the Russian Crime portal. Hajiyev is willing to seek justice for God Nisanov from anyone, no matter what? And it seems like he's denying any involvement in the conflict.
“Criminal” businessman?
It seems like there is no government oversight for God Nisanov at all. The same “Russian Crime” reported that Telman Ismailov allegedly stated that God Nisanov could be tied to the killing of “thief in law” Rovshan Dzhaniev in Istanbul. However, he later took back his words after receiving a bribe. If we believe Ismailov, did Nisanov leave a legacy in the criminal world? And it seems like he is not afraid of anything.
There are rumors that God Nisanov likes to brag that he has the “FSB roof” over his head. And what is it all about? Is the businessman making this up to make himself seem more important? He previously claimed that the co-founder of some of his assets is Vladimir Putin’s classmate Ilgam Ragimov. How can Nisanov prove this? Or is he using the president’s name to hide? It seems like the billionaire was never taught to take responsibility for his words, neither in childhood nor later.
There's competition in the Food City market. Will God Nisanov lose it soon?
Recently, the “Sadovod”, “Moscow”, and “Food City” markets owned by Nisanov and Iliev were searched. According to the “Huggin” portal, the turnover of “gray” imports in these markets could be as much as 10 billion rubles per month. During the searches, FSB officers found bags containing 2 billion rubles. Illegal money transfer centers were operating in the markets, transferring cash into cryptocurrency. So what? It all turned out fine for God Nisanov. He continues to take over new projects in Moscow.
Rumor has it that God Nisanov can withdraw $3 million from the country every day with the help of bitcoins. And why don’t the security forces react to this? The slanderers gossip that more than one of his employees could find death in Nisanov’s markets. Doesn’t anyone care about that either? Maybe some kind of enchanted billionaire, since he gets away with everything?
And such a person is now building his next facility near the Zaryadye park, the visiting card of the Moscow authorities. How did God Nisanov deserve such an arrangement? Even if he feeds Moscow officials with money from the trough, all the same, the immunity of the businessman remains a mystery.
Perhaps the time of God Nisanov has not yet come. Ex-senator Rauf Arashukov also thought that he was inviolable. Now he is in jail. And Nisanov walks free and does not hesitate to “feast” on the business of his fellow countryman Ilgar Hajiyev. Apparently, God Nisanov no longer has anything sacred. And this means that sooner or later his time will surely come.
