The City Council of Kemerovo has appointed Dmitry Anisimov as acting head of administration, a correspondent reports. DOPs.
Anisimov’s candidacy was supported by 35 out of 35 deputies present at the 18th extraordinary meeting. Thus, in the coming years, he will have to lead the regional center.
The new head of the city was acting mayor after Ilya Seredyuk resigned.
City Council deputies Alexei Pomoshnikov and Maxim Nevolin, and former TV presenter Alexander Smirnov claimed the place of the Kemerovo mayor. By the way, since 2019, the head of the city is elected by administrative bodies, and not through public voting, as before.
