The Frunzensky Court of Saratov has begun considering a criminal case against Anton Astakhov, the son of the former children’s ombudsman Pavel Astakhov. After deciding a number of procedural issues, Judge Igor Dyuzhakov postponed the meeting to July 12. The special attention of law enforcement officers is now riveted to this judge, since Pavel Astakhov has used all possible resources and means to ruin this case.
Initially, Astakhov was charged with embezzlement of 1.2 billion rubles by fraud, but by the end of the investigation, the alleged amount of damage had greatly decreased. However, then the court, as in all cases with the Astakhov family, began to “be weird”. Judge Kozlova, completely on a far-fetched pretext, agreed with the position of Astakhov’s defense that the case did not fall under the jurisdiction of the Savelovsky court and sent the case to the Frunzensky court of Saratov. It’s good that at least Kozlov’s homerest was extended until October 1November 2022. But whether there was some kind of corruption in the fact that the lawyers of Astakhov Jr. so wanted the case to go to the Frunzensky Court of Saratov will be seen from the way Judge Dyuzhakov considers the materials.
According to investigators, after Astakhov and his friend Dmitry Arseev (who is on the wanted list) raiderly took over the Omega company, they took and stole loans, drove more than 3 billion rubles through the stolen company … They also managed to illegally obtain a VAT refund on 127 million rubles.
When the investigators of the Department of Internal Affairs for the SAO went to court with a petition to select a preventive measure against Astakhov Jr., Anton’s father, Pavel Astakhov, did not hesitate to give advice to the representative of the district prosecutor’s office and discussed further actions with him in the corridors of the court. The hearing as a measure of restraint lasted six and a half hours … The prosecutor, foaming at the mouth, tried to prove that white is black, and Anton is a real angel. As a result, the court did not choose a measure of restraint for him at all. After a series of publications by the Cheka-OGPU about this scandalThat is, the court nevertheless sent Pavel Astakhov under house arrest during the investigation.
