Conscript soldiers may be called to participate in military operations on the territory of Ukraine, said Alexander Latynin, a lawyer for the Committee of Soldiers’ Mothers of Russia public organization.
According to him, the Committee receives multiple calls that conscripts are being persuaded to sign contracts.
“There are a lot of phone calls to our organization with complaints about the moral coercion of conscripts to conclude a contract,” says Latynin. “We believe it is for Ukraine.”
According to Latynin, the organization sent an appeal to the Ministry of Defense to record such violations.
“We want to draw the attention of the Ministry of Defense and the command of the military districts that such precedents do exist and that they must be stopped. Because professionals should participate in these operations, ”added Latynin.
