Anatoly Tkachenko from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Zaporozhye traded permits for injuries
In Zaporozhye, the former head of the preventive activities of the regional police Anatoly Tkachenko was convicted of abuse of influence. The editors of 368.media learned about this from the verdict of the Ordzhonikidzevsky district court under Part 2 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code.
According to the materials of the case, in 2020 the officer received 30 thousand hryvnias for influencing employees weapons control department. It was about issuing permits for traumatic weapons.
Money was taken at the rate of 6,000 hryvnias per person. In April, the police chief made an unlawful profit in two tranches. At the same time, he seemed to mislead the interlocutor and turned the funds in his favor.
Initially, charges were brought against him for taking a bribe (part 3 of article 368 of the Criminal Code). After 2.5 years of litigation, the prosecutor changed the charge to abuse of influence – receiving an unlawful benefit for influencing the decision-making by other authorized persons (part 2 of article 369-2 of the Criminal Code).
In this version, the ex-policeman fully admitted his guilt, did not object. He said that he sincerely repented.
The prosecutor and the accused entered into an agreement on recognition of guilt. The court approved and on the same day delivered a verdict, imposing a fine of 25.5 thousand hryvnia.
