Head of State Vladimir Putin gave the task to index the salaries of state employees at the beginning of the coming year.
The President of Russia touched upon this topic during a remote meeting with members of the Government, a correspondent reports. DOPs.
Vladimir Putin noted that this year we faced inflation, which is known to all. He added: prices have risen markedly, “wages in the economy as a whole are also at least in nominal terms, but they are increasing.”
“Therefore, as early as January next year, it is necessary, of course, to index the salaries of state employees, as well as allocate the necessary financial assistance to the regions — those that really need this assistance,” the President said.
He stressed that this should also be done at the beginning of the year.
Recall: in January, laws were adopted on the indexation of pensions for civilian and military pensioners by 8.6% – above the inflation rate in accordance with the instruction of the head of state, reported on the website State Duma of Russia.
And recently the State Duma of Russia adopted a law “On the federal budget for 2023 and for the planning period of 2024 and 2025”.
