Today, senators approved a law that sets the minimum wage at 16,242 rubles in 2023, a correspondent reports. DOPs with reference to the press service of the Council.
In accordance with the document, “from January 1, 2023, it is proposed to establish a minimum wage in the amount of 16,242 rubles per month with an increase of 6.3% compared to the previous year.”
The adopted law will help ensure wage increases for about 3.5 million public sector workers, according to accompanying materials.
