Head of State Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the formation of a coordinating council under the Cabinet of Ministers to meet the needs of the RF Armed Forces.
Decree No. 763 of October 21, 2022 “On the Coordinating Council under the Government of the Russian Federation to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, other troops, military formations and bodies” is posted on the official Internet portal of legal information, the correspondent reports. The specified council, as stated in the decree (p. 1), is created “in order to strengthen the coordination of the activities of the federal executive authorities and the executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in the course of a special military operation.”
The head of the Government of Russia will be the chairman of the newly created body. This post is held by Mikhail Mishustin.
Among the main tasks of the council: resolving issues related to the provision of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, other troops, military formations with weapons, military equipment and special equipment, material means and resources, including the performance of work and the provision of services for these purposes.
It is also worth recalling that earlier head of state Vladimir Putin approved the list orders to meet the needs arising in the course of the special operation. Just there there was a point about this coordinating council.
